As an Appalachian State University alumni and a lover of Boone and the mountains, I am grateful to be back in the place our family loves the most. After graduating in 2007, my wife Dana and I came back to Boone to get married, and we now have two boys, Gus and Jake. Boone is a special place to us; so much so that we gave Gus the middle name Boone. Our love for the high country continues to grow as we climb, bike, hike, and play in the mountains and streams of Western North Carolina. When we're not in the office or on a trail, you will likely find us at the Watauga Recreation Center or on a ball field. I am honored to be in a position to help the Boone and Watauga community plan, prepare for, and protect their future by addressing any insurance needs and providing Retirement services. I am a huge supporter of youth sports through the Watauga Recreation Department and the Watauga High School Booster Club. As a former coach, I love watching kids get better and developing all kinds of skill through sports. Other causes that are important to our agency are the Watauga Humane Society, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and the International Mountain Bike Association. I am an active member of the Boone Sunrise Rotary Club and enjoy volunteering with various organizations through my association with Rotary. Our agency is also a member of the Boone Chamber of Commerce.
